Five Star Service at Grays Hotel
Grays Hotel, which is part of the Southwater Event Group, has achieved a five star rating in the Scores on the Doors scheme which is run by Telford & Wrekin Council.
It's the top award which is only given to premises with the highest standards in food hygiene and safety, structure, and confidence in management.
Mel Stanton, General Manager at Grays Hotel, said: "We are delighted to have achieved a five star rating for the third year running, and I'm very proud of our team.
"We work extremely hard to sustain the very highest standards in all areas of the business, and this result reflects the dedication and commitment shown by everyone involved."
Under the Scores on the Doors scheme, food businesses including pubs, restaurants, takeaways, private caterers, care homes and school kitchens are inspected by the council's Environmental Health officers, and are then given a star rating.
Any star rating can be withdrawn if standards are found to have slipped at a later inspection, and all scores are published on the website - www.telford.gov.uk/scoresonthedoors - to help consumers make an informed choice about where they eat and buy food.
As well as Grays Hotel and Conference Centre, the Southwater Event Group owns The International Centre, The Holiday Inn, and The International Hotel as well as production company Stagecraftuk.
