Multiplay Moves to Telford

Multiplay is the number one source for all aspects of gaming, and they are also the organisers behind what is recognized as the UK's premier multiplayer gaming event.

Previously held at Newbury Racecourse, the i-Series event has moved to The International Centre to enable organisers to take it to the next level.

The event, to be held on 24th-28th August, will see gamers compete across a range of titles for money, games and hardware.  Spectators will be able to enjoy a dedicated exhibition area as well as the tense competition area.

The total prize pot comes in at £30,000 and is likely to rise as more sponsors sign on closer to the event. Multiplay has promised that some of the biggest upcoming games will be present.

More than 3,000 consumers are expected to compete at i43, with an additional 2,000 spectators.

Multiplay managing director Craig Fletcher said: "The i-Series of multiplayer events have always been a sight to behold but in our new home at the The International Centre, it's going to be our biggest and best yet."
